Bayside Pediatrics, Inc. currently has four board certified pediatricians and one board eligible pediatricians who excel in providing the best medical care for your children. Supporting the pediatricians, we have an expert team of caregivers with several years experience in the field. Medical assistants, billing experts and front desk professionals will facilitate your access to the best health care and health education for you and your children and will ensure your visit at our practice is a pleasant one. They are responsible for all of the behind-the-scene aspects of our practice, allowing the pediatrician to dedicate their entire time to your children’s health care and health education.
Dr. Pinzon is the founder of Bayside Pediatrics, Inc. He has practiced in pediatrics in Tampa, Florida since 1989. At first out of MacDill AFB and in 1991, he opened his own private practice named Kiddy Clinic and later opened a second location close by St. Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Pinzon has been an active fellow and member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Florida Pediatric Society, Hillsborough County Pediatric Society, and Tampa Bay Latin American Medical Association.
Maria helped build the practice while working as a full
time pharmacist for Eckerd’s and later for Medco for 17 years. Although
she loves her profession, she recently decided to work at the office alongside
her husband and is the Practice Administrator. Her knowledge and skills in the medical field have helped improve the overall quality of healthcare provided to our patients.
Maria is an active member of Florida Pharmacist Association,
American Pharmacists Association and recently became a member of MGMA.
Mindy joined Bayside Pediatrics, Inc. in July of 2000 as a front desk and referral specialist and later became the front desk team leader. Prior to becoming a Practice Administrator Assistant, she enjoyed improving our in-house billing department. In addition to her billing and other clerical skills, she has excellent computer skills and became the coordinator for our new electronic medical records (EMR). Her extensive experience in the healthcare industry helped her excel in the design and continued improvement of our EMR system.
